Shri. George S. Fernandes, founder and the President of Milagres Co-operative hails from Pascal Nayak’s family from Manki, Honnavar.
He is enriched with 41 years of experience in Co-operative Sector. Apart From this since the beginning of his career, he was a person who took active part in various social causes for the upliftment of the aggrieved section of society. He was shouldered upon various responsibilities and has served in different posts in many organizations. Some of the noted ones are, he served as the President of Catholic Association, Diocese of Karwar from 2006 to 2008. He was appointed as State Secretary in All India Catholic Union. He served as the President of Rotary Club of Karwar under Rotary Dist. 3170 for the year 2008-09. He was awarded with “Rastriya Nirman Ratan Award” at New Delhi. His Undaunted service and Passion towards Rotary was observed by his team members and hence he was shouldered the responsibility of Assistant Governor in the year 2010-11. He also served as a Internal Auditor for All India Catholic Union from 2010 to 2012.

Mrs. Rosline Fernandes is the Co-founder and the Former President of Milagres since the inception of the society.
She is M.Com post graduate and also acquired a degree in Higher Diploma in Co-operative where she gained detail knowledge about the various aspects of Co-operative in Bangalore. She assisted author Shri. Vaggannavar to write a book on “The Role of Pattana Sahakari Banks in Karnataka”. She has worked in various institutions as an Accounts Officer. Apart from this she is also very keen in social service activities. She has successfully completed her tenure as the President of Inner Wheel Club of Karwar in the year 2012-13. Also she has served the same organization as club secretary twice in the year 2008-09 and 2012-13.
Former President's Message:
During one of the study hour conducted during HDC Degree, I visited Ahmadabad to Amul Dairy. I was totally inspired by Dr. Verghese Kurien who had turned the Amul Diary as a White Revolution. That was the moment, I decided to step forward and make use of the potentials to create a revolution in Co-operative Sector.
My prime objective is to raise our co-operatives as a leading and dominant in comparison to others. My Dream is to provide relevant and innovative financial services to our customers, thus playing a central role in Co-operative movement.
